How does alarm monitoring work?
Your home or business is monitored 24 hours a day, and in the event of an emergency the system transmits a signal to the On Guard monitoring center.
Safety and Security Packages
The monitoring center attempts to contact you via phone after the signal is received. If the person wh
o answers the phone can not supply the pre-defined password, or if no one answers the phone, the representative alerts local authorities.
Local authorities are dispatched to the location responding to emergency situations. In the event of a panic alarm, police are immediately dispatched.
Personal Safety Packages
If On Guard receives a signal from the personal safety pendant or wrist device, the customer or police are immediately notified.
